Lifeguard On Duty

(The backstory of this imaginary, yet inspirational angel)

She troubles the waters with a single foot. God has empowered Annasha with the gift of healing of all manners of diseases. She is truly a Life Guard.

This artwork produces a strong tactile sensation; one in which we could feel the texture of the wings, the stones, and the pool water. I have modeled the angel’s wings to that of a seabird and her lifeguard swimsuit is a current design with the exception of the CROSS in the middle of the word guard. As you can see the CROSS has been modified to that of a crucifixion CROSS. This amplifies her call of God to be a servant of Christ.
