UNUSED GIFTS
The artwork uses a broad range of greyscales to set the tone of a serious work, with a feeling of melancholy. The vision offered this tone and emotional effect, purposefully.
Why purposefully? It submerged me in a “positive negative urgency”.
HOPE
The message is simple. It is so simple and clear; I feel that quietness speaks the dept of its meaning more intensely. The budding of life in the midst of so much sorrow and agony. The death of our Lord is a stark reminder of the reason why we praise God and value giving of ourselves.
THE LIGHTBEARER
The Lightbearer depicts an energic image of a boat in troubled waters by the safety of a lighthouse. The artwork was fun to achieve and I enjoyed every stroke of the brush. I named the work Lightbearers for two reasons. ….
